Some of the freshest grass produced in Colorado is the Vibe Street variety. “She Makes Me Feel” is the second EP for Ben Davis as he carves out quite a niche in the electronic universe. These 5 tracks carry a unique sound ranging from “Grasshop” to “Electro-Bluegrass” under the greater umbrella of “Electro-Soul”. It’s an ingenious blend of funky riffs, seamless samples, and confident creativity. We think this could make for great spacial downtime listening, particularly in darker tracks like the organ and bass heavy “Take Care”, but it also has an energizing electro element that should appeal to most any audience. If you need a comparable artist, we’d tag Vibe Street as ‘Prettylights-esque’, but this EP is worth a listen either way!
