With his Elsewhere EP dropping December 10th and the single “Winter Train,” Stèv is the most recent addition to Emancipator’s label, Loci Records. Stèv is a multi-instrumentalist and producer hailing from Italy. His music melds live instrumentation and field recordings with digital and analog electronic elements to produce a very unique, organic brand of experimental downtempo and ambient music. “Winter Train” is beautifully orchestrated, blending etherial atmosphere with a very minimal, yet bouncy beat, revealing Stèv’s adept skills as a sound designer.
