A wise man once said that writing about music is like dancing about architecture. Sometimes I really don’t know how to describe a sound. I would be better off drawing a picture of the colors I see when I listen to it with my eyes closed. Scifer, who I recently discovered, has produced for us a sound that is filled with crisp drums, melodic samples, and arpeggiated brilliance. This is the whole package. This guy needs to get discovered. Or not. I’m happy to be the ultimate hipster of chill music.
