Relaux: You have a great English, but are originally French correct?
Besnine: Thanks for the compliment. I’m French and I live near Paris.
Relaux: Where are you from and where do you work on your music?
Besnine: I’m from a city near Paris. It’s called Levallois. I work in my little “home studio”. It’s not that great but for my level, it’s good enough.
Relaux: Did you first begin as a producer or through playing an instrument?
Besnine: I began playing drums, then I learned to play guitar and piano, and 2 or 3 years ago, I started producing.
Relaux: When did you first notice that “Feel Alive” was going to become so popular? Did it happen overnight?
Besnine: I didn’t notice anything. I just love this song, and when I listen to it, I realize the chance I had to compose it. While I was recording, I was just really excited about the feedback I was about to have. Today, I’m glad people like it.
Relaux: The vocals on this track are very inspiring and carry a clear message; how did they get created? Most listeners would have no idea you are French!
Besnine: I wrote everything in this song, and I’m as surprised as you are! I had a clear vision of the story I wanted to tell.
Relaux: Do you have any future goals or message you want to share with our mostly American audience?
Besnine: I want to progress, that’s why I work a lot, and I’d like to produce different kind of musics.
Relaux: Thanks for answering our questions! Lastly, any other upcoming artist you recommend to listeners?
Besnine: My friend Edward Newgate, I really like what he makes. He’s from Yunizon Records, the label I just joined.
We are huge fans of Yunizon Records, having featured their artists before, so keep an eye out for Besnine as his music continues to make us feel alive!
